Training

Medstar team members receive the most comprehensive training of any EMS provider in Southeast Michigan. In addition to frequent continuing education (CE) opportunities, our team members are able to take ACLS, PHTLS, PALS, UMBC-CCT, and PPTC on-site at our deployment hubs.

Our training programs are designed around the certification and re-certification needs of our personnel and are held regularly throughout the year. Medstar EMTs are also eligible for no-cost Paramedic training.
