Medstar's UV Sterilization Process
Medstar is on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic and has UV sterilization available for ambulance and equipment used to transport a patient meeting screening criteria for the virus. UV sterilization has been proven to be the most effective mechanism to kill viruses on surfaces.
To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, Medstar is offering the use of its UV sterilization equipment to police, fire, and other EMS agencies throughout the Medstar service area.
MDHHS Resource for First Responders
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) put together this kit to help first responders during the pandemic. It has information and resources about physical and mental health and other important topics such as child care.
