Medstar, Michigan’s largest EMS and mobile healthcare provider, announces the appointment of Nancy Olind as the Vice President of Human Resources. Nancy will oversee the not-for-profit’s development and execution of strategic initiatives related to people and practices. She will be responsible for the employee experience while overseeing compensation, benefits, and inclusion efforts.

“It’s more important than ever to have a workplace that prioritizes people. Nancy’s background and solution-minded approach will bring value to our team as we continue to expand and enhance the employment experience for our team members,” said Medstar CEO Kolby Miller.  “We are fortunate to have her join our team.”

Nancy brings over 25 years of HR experience, including four years of HR consulting in the medical field.  She most recently worked as a Labor and Employment Law Attorney at Kelly Law Firm. She received her law degree at Cooley Law School and her undergraduate degree from Eastern Michigan University.

“My passion for people has driven my work in HR.  Helping people grow and develop their careers is a highlight for me,” Olind said Monday.  “I want to ensure that our team members enjoy what they do, while providing care and service to the patients we serve.  Creating environments for our team to thrive is my top priority.”
