Birthday Parade in Chesterfield Township

Medstar, Southern Michigan’s largest EMS and mobile healthcare provider, is honored to have participated in a birthday parade for a local teen who is a special member of the Chesterfield Township Police Department.

Dylan Rheker (aka Badge 55) turned 16 years old yesterday. The longtime friend and supporter of the police department has health challenges and is under strict quarantine.

To help Dylan celebrate his 16th birthday, 100 police, fire, EMS, and other first responders paraded in front of his home. Medstar’s LifeFlight also provided a helicopter flyover.

“Dylan is an incredible kid who deserves a top-notch celebration,” says Medstar CEO Kolby Miller. “We hope the parade helped lift his spirits during this challenging time.”

Videos and photos from the parade are on the Medstar Facebook page at www.facebook.com/therealmedstar
