Two Medstar EMTs Recognized at International EMS Conference
Medstar, Southern Michigan’s largest EMS and mobile healthcare provider, is proud to announce that two of our EMTs were awarded a trip to the EMS Today conference in Tampa, Florida — one of the premier emergency medical services conferences in the world.
Cheryl Dauphinee and Erik Sogge were recognized for their leading patient satisfaction survey ratings and cycle times.
“The best part of my job is recognizing and spending time with the individuals who provide the incredible care and service that make our organization what it is today,” said Kolby Miller, Medstar CEO.
Dauphinee and Sogge frequently work together and challenge each other do to their best even when working with other partners.
“I love what I do every day taking care of patients,” said Dauphinee. “It’s great that I get to work on a team that recognizes our hard work and the care we provide, and leadership that is personally involved in our daily activities.”
EMS Today brings together 4,600+ EMS professionals from around the world to cover the most pressing topics in the industry including clinical practice, administration, leadership, operations, community paramedicine, and technology.
“The conference has been great,” said Sogge. “We’ve had some amazing clinical learning sessions, and spent time exploring new treatment equipment and technology. I’m proud to represent Medstar, and am fortunate to work for an EMS agency that provides this type of recognition and opportunity.”
