Medstar, Southeast Michigan’s largest EMS and mobile health provider, is expanding its executive team with the addition of Anne Hein as the new communications manager and public information officer. 

In this newly created role, Anne will be responsible for internal communications and as well as engaging with community members and other stakeholders to raise awareness about Medstar’s industry-leading team and services.

In her new role, Anne will be responsible for Medstar’s annual Careholder Report, social and traditional media engagement, internal communications and recognition programs, and website administration. Anne will also support Medstar’s engagement in the civic and charitable organizations throughout its service area.

Anne joins Medstar with 15 years of experience in communications. With a degree in broadcast journalism, she began her career as a TV news producer. She then transitioned into corporate communications, public relations, and marketing in the healthcare industry, most recently with an in-home care provider. Anne also has experience working in healthcare quality improvement.
